This is an original watercolor painting, Monk and Aloka Walk for Peace. I was very moved by the monks who walked 2,300 miles for peace and have been creating a series of paintings inspired by this powerful movement. This particular image of the venerable monk smiling and waving feathers with Aloka by his side touched my heart. This painting is a loving tribute to the venerable monks and Aloka, and all that they represents - Peace, Light, and Hope.
