On Valentine's Day this year, I felt inspired to paint someone who has taught me so much about Love, and that’s my dear friend. To love generously is not always easy especially in these challenged days. But I’m so fortunate to have a friend like Irene. I got to know Irene when she started to attend my art classes, both watercolor and oriental dance. I was instantly taken by her ageless beauty, genuine and gracious way of treating people. She constantly inspires me and empowers me with her generous acts of love. She told me that whenever she met any challenge in life, she just reminded herself to open her heart a little more. Yes, no matter what happens, I can always choose to open up my heart a little more. And that has made all the differences.
